<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a supporting metal fitting which has strength high enough to be comparable to a welded construction part and excellent durability with a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This metal fitting has a caulked structure where one end of a supporting member 12 of which both ends in the width direction at its top and a front end central portion have a cut section is inserted into an insertion opening 14 provided at a supporting member fixing part 16 of a mounting member 11, its front end is bent until it comes into contact with the back face of the mounting member 11 with its front ends 121, 122 in a staggered configuration.
