<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium which shows an improvement of ink picture quality and is almost free from ink blur by adding a specific polyglycerine derivative to an ink absorbing layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording medium having a support and the ink absorbing layer formed on at least one surface of the support, the ink absorbing layer contains a polyglycerine alkyleneoxide adduct and/or 0.1 to 80 pts.wt. of not less than one kind of a polyglycerine fatty ester with an HLB of 6-11 to 100 pts.wt. of an ink absorbing resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
