<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt unworn alarm device improved so that an occupant can precisely recognize a meaning of an alarm and take a proper measure for the alarm. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt unworn alarm device 1 to generate the alarm to urge an occupant unworn with a seat belt to wear the seat belt has an audio alarm means 4 to repeat a cycle to alternate a sound state and a silent state, a visual alarm means 3 to continuously generate an optical signal and a display means 5 to optically display a content of the alarm, and it outputs a display to urge the wearing of the seat belt only during a period of the sound state in the case that the seat belt is not worn when a vehicle speed exceeds a prescribed vehicle speed.
