<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainpipe cleaning method and an apparatus for the same, which make it possible to clean a drainpipe arranged downstream in a sink through a high-pressure cleaning process employing a rear water jet method even if the sink is equipped with a disposer. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid transfer hose 1b, on the front end of which a nozzle 1c capable of jetting washwater 4 almost backward is fitted, is inserted into the drainpipe 6 until reaches a desirable position inside the drainpipe. As a portable high pressure washer 1 makes the nozzle 1c jet the pressurized washwater 4, the nozzle 1c is moved toward the insertion point of the hose 1b by a proper way. Then, dirt 5 remaining inside the cleaned drainpipe 6 is sucked by a vacuum apparatus 2 via a suction hose 2b set at a proper spot on the drainpipe 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
