PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document managing system for simplifying operation by a user, and efficiently registering a document. SOLUTION: The system includes: a document managing device 7; a form recognizing device 4 for recognizing a form when the document is registered; a document registering device 5 for retrieving a previously registered folder after recognizing the form, and registering it in the same folder; and a register folder recording device 6 for recording the form and a register folder. Thus, the form of a register document is recognized and automatically registered in the folder, so that the classification of the document is omitted. the operation of the user who registers the document is simplified, and then, document register is rapidly performed.
