PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device capable of easily obtaining a portrait of high quality by selectively illuminating a person to be photographed, who is in a photographing room, with proper diffuse light (continuous-tone soft light). SOLUTION: In the photographing device, the photographing room in which the person to be photographed is and an apparatus storage room in which a photographing means for photographing the person being in the photographing room and an image processing apparatus for processing and outputting an image obtained by the photographing means are stored are provided in a box. The photographing room is provided with a plurality of illuminating means for illuminating the person to be photographed, a plurality of photographic data obtained by photographing in various illumination conditions in the photographing room, and an input means for changing illumination conditions of the plurality of illuminating means to change the illumination condition in the photographing room.
