PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of noise caused when a rear end of paper passing a curved carrying passage flips up. SOLUTION: The paper carrying device 1 is provided with the curved carrying passage 20 guiding the carried paper P, paper guide plates 27, 29 (a carrying guide plate, and a curved guide plate) disposed in the carrying passage, and elastic members 31, 33 fixed to the paper guide plates at carrying direction rear ends and positioning carrying direction tip ends 28, 30 in the carrying passage.
