An optical device molding die designing method measures a wavefront aberration amount (Delta) of an optical device molded by a temporary die, calculates a correction wavefront aberration amount (-Delta) compensating for the wavefront aberration amount (Delta), optically designs the optical device again by optimizing its form so as to generate the correction wavefront aberration amount (-Delta), and designs a normal die accordingly.
