PURPOSE: A synthetic resin composition containing staple microfibers is provided to improve metallic color-developing properties and prevent irregular color development often caused by weld lines and flow marks during the injection molding of a synthetic resin. The resin composition does not require additional coating with metallic dye, thereby helping to reduce the production cost, prevent deterioration in durability, and recycle the synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION: The synthetic resin composition comprises, based on 100pts.wt of a thermoplastic resin, 0.1-50pts.wt of a chemically- or mechanically-treated staple microfiber, and at most 10pts.wt of an internal lubricant, wherein the staple microfiber is selected from a metallic staple microfiber having a diameter of 1-100micrometer and a length of 0.5-5mm, a synthetic staple microfiber having a diameter of 1-100micrometer and a length of 0.5-5mm and a glass staple microfiber having a diameter of 0.1-500micrometer and a length of 0.1-20mm. |
