CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR ABUTMENT USING SHEET PILE AND CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING AXIAL LOAD OF FLOOR SLAB AND LATERAL EARTH PRESSURE OF GROUND

PURPOSE: A construction method for an abutment using a sheet pile and a construction system thereof are provided to function as an abutment which supports the axial load of a floor slab and the lateral earth pressure of the ground, to decrease the time and manpower required for construction by laying standardized sheet piles and to have excellent constructability for the surroundings. CONSTITUTION: The construction method for an abutment using a sheet pile comprises the steps of laying many sheet piles(110) vertically under the ground, coupling sheet piles(110) horizontally and coupling a floor slab of a bridge horizontally on the upper end of the coupled sheet piles(110). The sheet pile(110) contains a corrosion-proof layer applied with corrosion preventive paints and coated with synthetic resins.
