PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine and an integrated-type cam bracket of the internal combustion engine are provided to improve work efficiency and to efficiently obtain secured rigidity. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder head(12) including a bearing holder(34) and an integrated cam bracket(14) fixed to the upper part of the cylinder head in a method where a first camshaft and a second camshaft extended substantially parallel in a direction of a line of a cylinder are sandwiched between the cylinder head and the integrated cam bracket. The integrated cam bracket includes a first side frame(18F) and a second side frame(18S); plural bearing beams(36) connecting the first side frame and the second side frame; a center beam(38) arranged between the first side frame and the second side frame and extended substantially parallel with the first side frame and the second side frame; and void parts(40F,40S) defined collinearly with the center beam and free from the center beam. The first camshaft and the second camshaft are rotatably supported by the bearing beam by cooperating with the bearing holder of the cylinder head.
