The invention relates to a valve spring plate (10) for supporting the spring resistance of locking springs acting upon gas exchange valves in valve regulation of internal combustion engines. Said valve spring plate comprises a reinforcement part (12) which is made of a less solid material and an annula r- shaped support part (14) which is made of more solid material and which is arranged between the reinforced part and locking spring in such a manner tha t the support part is maintained in a friction fit on the reinforcement part i n order to simplify production and pre-assembly.
