JUDGMENT METHOD OF COSMETIC EFFECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that judges the suitability of a makeup for the shape of a person's face by revealing three-dimensional effects of makeup cosmetics.

SOLUTION: The pattern of spatial frequencies of a captured image of a face made up is analyzed to judge three-dimensional effects of the makeup and to judge the compatibility of the makeup with the person's face shape. The spatial frequency pattern analysis involves comparisons between face images extracted from the face image and subjected to spatial frequency enhancement or reduction.
