摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microminiature power converter including a thinned inductor (thin film magnetic inductive element) which has a small mounting area, to increase power conversion efficiency, and to reduce power loss. <P>SOLUTION: Coil conductors 4, 5 each have a linear planar shape, and are formed correspondingly on the first and second principal surfaces of a magnetic insulating substrate 1 respectively. The conductors 4, 5 are electrically connected to each other through a connection conductor 3 formed in a through-hole and formed into a solenoidal shape. The inductance of the thinned inductor can be enhanced and further the direct current superposing characteristics can be also improved by determining d to satisfy a relation: d≥L/2 where L is the length of the magnetic insulating substrate in the direction perpendicular to an X-X line, and d is the length of the coil conductor which is the distance between the opposing connection conductors 3.
