<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device preventing lowering in both side productivity when recording to the both sides of a sheet at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet carrying device for reversing and carrying a sheet, comprises a reversing means having a reversing roller pair 19 for reversing the sheet by switchback, a both side carrying means having a both side carrying roller pair 21 for carrying the sheet reversed by the reversing means, a reversing motor for driving the reversing roller pair 19 and the both side carrying roller pair 21, an one-way clutch transmitting only rotational force in a predetermined direction of the motor to the both side carrying roller pair 21. In order to successively reverse a plurality of the sheets, a following sheet is carried by the revering roller pair 19, when a rear end of the sheet reversed by rotations of the reversing roller pair 19 passes the reversing roller pair 19 and is nipped by the both side carrying roller pair 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
