摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect whether electrical equipment is in a standby state or a power failure occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The electrical equipment 20 is provided with a power source circuit 12, a power failure detection circuit 15, and a microcomputer 10 for control. The power failure detection circuit 15 forms detection signals on the basis of a voltage inputted from the power source circuit 12 and the detection signals are inputted from the power failure detection circuit 15 to the microcomputer 10 for the control. The microcomputer 10 for the control detects the conditions of the operation of the power source circuit 12 on the basis of the detection signals inputted from the power failure detection circuit 15. The microcomputer 10 for the control decides that the power failure occurs in the power source circuit 12 in the case of not detecting the detection signals over a fixed period of time. Thus, in the case of being in the standby state, even when the power source circuit 12 performs an intermittent oscillation operation, the microcomputer 10 for the control is prevented from erroneously deciding that the power failure occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
