PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio data editing method by which edition of audio data can be performed at a high speed. SOLUTION: In the audio data editing method in which edition of audio data recorded in a MD is performed by change of TNO of audio data on the MD, specific information specifying audio data to be recorded in the MD after erasing TNO is compared with specific information specifying audio data stored in the MD corresponding to the specific information (204), when the both coincide as a result of comparison, the erased TNO is restored (S205).
