PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on high pressure loss in a case of a fuel/air premixing device having a swirler of a gas turbine combustor for air navigation and the like of a wide operation range, with respect to a backfire preventing device in a conventional fuel/air premixing device. SOLUTION: In the backfire preventing device in the fuel/air premixing device wherein a plurality of slits of a width less than an extinction distance, through which the fuel/air premixture passes, are formed over the whole periphery of a throttle part projecting inward along an inner periphery of an outlet of the cylindrical fuel/air premixing device having the swirler, a mounting angle of the slit is determined within a range of -10°to + 10°from a position in parallel with the flowing direction of the fuel/air premixture.
