PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating device utilizing the movement of gravity caused by the rotation of a spherical body. SOLUTION: A spherical body 1 is supported by providing a three-point supported ball bearing shaped slidably movable bearing 2 on both surfaces of the axis X of the spherical body 1. A groove 3 is formed at an eccentric position along the axis Y orthogonal to the axis X. A chain 4 is wound around the groove 3 and suspended with a weight 5 freely attached to the lower end of the chain 4, and the inequality of the distance between (a) and (b) < the distance between (b) and (c) is satisfied. Continuous rotational motion like the rotation of the earth is generated by the effect of the bearing 2 which is slidably moved by the movement of gravity generated by the inclination of the spherical body 1 by the chain provided at the eccentric position.
