PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid compressor improved in assembling workability and having excellent sealing performance, at a low cost. SOLUTION: This hybrid compressor is constituted by integrally assembling a first compression mechanism driven only by a first drive source and a second compression mechanism driven only by a second drive source. A housing of the compressor is composed of a front housing located on the first compression mechanism side; a rear housing for enclosing the second drive source; and a casing interposed between the front housing and the rear housing to partition at least the inner peripheral surfaces of an intake chamber of the first compression mechanism and an intake chamber of the second compression mechanism. The first compression mechanism and the second compression mechanism are arranged in a space surrounded by the front housing and the casing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
