PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure of a hybrid compressor that can assure good insulating performance on the motor drive side, maintain high compression efficiency and that can obtain stable start-up performance on the motor drive side in a hybrid compressor where a first compression mechanism and a second compression mechanism driven only by a built-in electric motor are placed in parallel and assembled integrally. SOLUTION: This hybrid compressor includes a first compression mechanism driven only by a first driving source and a second compression mechanism driven only by a built-in electric motor as a second driving source, both of which being placed in parallel and assembled integrally, having a communication passage for communicating to a suction chamber of the both mechanisms, which communication passage being connected only to an upper portion of the suction chamber of the second compression mechanism.
