PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out weaving by a water jet loom in which a woven fabric using a polyamide multifilament yarn free from sizing agent as warp can be produced without generating jet stain. SOLUTION: In the method for carrying out weaving by the water jet loom, a washing agent containing a chelate dispersing agent and a surfactant is made to adhere to warp in≥0.2% weight ratio of washing agent to warp by contact with a roller on a loom and then, weaving is carried out, when producing woven fabric by using a polyamide multifilament yarn free from sizing agent as warp.
