PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat resistant cast steel which can be subjected to dissolution and casting in the air, and exhibits excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: The heat resistant cast steel has a composition comprising, by mass, 0.5 to 1.5% C, 0.01 to 2% Si, 3 to 20% Mn, 0.03 to 0.2% P, 3 to 20% Ni, 10 to 25% Cr, 0.5 to 4% Nb,≤0.1% Al and 1.5 to 6% of one or two kinds of metals selected from Mo and W by 1.5 to 6% in total, and the balance mainly Fe. The heat resistant cast steel is obtained by dispersing carbides being a reinforcing phase into an austenite base matrix phase, and by increasing the amount of the carbides to be dispersed by the presence of P, it exhibits excellent high temperature properties though being austenitic heat resistant cast steel.
