PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail heating device for a passenger conveyor capable of preventing its handrail from being frozen certainly. SOLUTION: The moving handrail heating device of the passenger conveyor includes a guide rail 13 which is installed in the upper part of a railing 7 and in which heat insulation 14 is installed. On the heat insulation 14 installed in the guide rail 13, heater wires 15 are arranged to emit heat with current feed for heating the moving handrail 8 with heat transfer in the air. The heater wires 15 are installed continuously in the longitudinal direction of the handrail 8 in such an arrangement as covering the whole forward path of the handrail 8.
