PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print by processing a rectangular region from an image photographed and recorded by a digital camera. SOLUTION: In a printer, an image recording medium 13 of the digital camera is set to read out data photographed and recorded in the image recording medium 13, and the data is printed. The printer has a display means 11 for displaying the recorded image, an operation means 12 for designating the rectangular region, and an image processing means 34 for carrying out image processing to the designated rectangular region.
