PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage capable of switching the interval between a liquid ejection head and a material being ejected with high precision, finely adjusting the interval between a liquid ejection head and the material being ejected, and finely adjusting the angle of the liquid ejection head in a liquid ejector where a guide shaft for bearing the carriage is reciprocatingly supported fixedly. SOLUTION: A PG switching unit 9 is supported by a slide lever 26 under such a state as two protrusions 911 formed on the PG switching unit body 91 are each abutting against a supporting section 262. The PG switching unit 9 is displaced in the direction shown by a sign M by sliding the slide lever 26. When a head angle adjusting lever 27 is oscillated in the direction shown by a sign H, a head angle adjusting eccentric cam 272 turns and a recording head 4 turns around a rotational shaft, i.e. a subcarriage guide shaft 28.
