PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a transport system of unpolished rice and polished rice, and to enhance flexibility in a rice cleaning process when the rice cleaning processes are overlapped and intermingled. SOLUTION: A rice cleaning plant is constituted of arranging a branch valve 16 on each of transport pipes 13A and 13B of unpolished rice pneumatic transport means 12A and 12B mounted on every unpolished rice tanks 10A and 10B to pneumatically transport the unpolished rice stored in an optional unpolished rice tank 10 to optional rice cleaning sections 20A<SB>1</SB>and 20A<SB>2</SB>by switching the branch valve 16, and also arranging a branch valve 29 on each of transport pipes 26A and 26B of polished rice pneumatic transport means 25A and 25B mounted on every rice polishing sections 20A and 20B to pneumatically transport the polished rice polished at optional rice polishing sections 20A<SB>1</SB>and 20A<SB>2</SB>to an optional polished rice tank 30 by switching the branch valve 29.
