APPARATUS FOR REMOVING/DEHYDRATING IMPURITY IN SEWAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a screw dehydrator to allow sewage to flow directly into the dehydrator to capture and dehydrate impurities (rubbish) in the sewage as they are in a screening part of a cylindrical casing by providing the apparatus with a screening function. SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing/dehydrating impurities in sewage is constituted so that a baffle 4 is arranged on the side of the tip of a screw 7 arranged in the cylindrical casing 2 to be rotated and the impurities introduced into the casing 2 from the upper part of one end of the casing 2 are dehydrated while being pressurized. The screening part S is constituted by arranging small holes and/or slits 2S on the peripheral surface of the casing 2. The sewage containing the impurities is made to flow into the part S in order to capture/remove the impurities. The captured impurities are dehydrated by rotating a screw 7.
