PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the antibiotic coating of bodies with interconnecting microcavities and bodies coated by this way and their usage. SOLUTION: In the coating method, an aqueous solution 1, which contains at least one easily water-soluble antibiotic component, and an aqueous solution 2, which contains at least one easily water-soluble amphiphilic component, are introduced into the microcavities, wherein during the introduction of solutions 1 and 2, the water is approximately removed, and whereby from the components of solutions 1 and 2 in the microcavities, a deposit is formed, which is sparingly soluble in water. Thereby, an antibiotic coating can be extremely inexpensively and easily prepared on the surfaces of porous materials with different substance compositions, causing to enable a binder for an additive polymer for mechanically stabilizing the coating to be omitted.
