A radio communication terminal capable of maintaining communication quality satisfactory irrespective of the action of performance-lowering factors disposed at desired positions. It comprises a first antennal (107) and a second antenna (109) which are spaced apart from each other, a camera (103) which is dispose closer to the first antenna than to the second antenna (109) and which is capable of lowering the performance of the first antenna (107) when actuated, a detecting section (113) for detecting the state of the camera (103), a control section (111) for effecting control such that according to the result of detection by the detecting section (113), it connects the first antenna (107) to a radio section (117) if the camera (103) is at rest and if the camera is in action, it connects the second antenna (109) thereto, and a high frequency switch (115) for switching the antennas according to the control of the control section (111).
