<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable logic circuit for easily and surely preventing illegal logic circuit information from being written to the programmable logic circuit and to provide a computer system and a method for writing logic circuit information. <P>SOLUTION: This programmable logic circuit 2 provided with a programmable logic area 5 is provided with a configuration memory 9, a configuration control circuit 10 provided with an authentication information extracting means 10a for extracting second authentication information attached to logic circuit information, an EEPROM block 12 capable of writing and erasing first authentication information only from a dedicated terminal, and an authentication determination circuit 11 for determining the permission/inhibition of writing of the logic circuit information.
