<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent thermal deterioration of a packing member, and facilitate maintenance and inspection thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A seal part 13 is composed of a cylinder part 14a provided in a charging box 14 to surround a rotary kiln 8 with a gap from it, a gland packing 4 to be engaged with the outer circumference of the cylinder part 14a, a packing engagement part 8c provided to be diametrically projected along the outer circumference of the rotary kiln 8 to be engaged with an axial end part of the gland packing 4, a packing chamber frame 22 engaged with the outer circumference of the gland packing 4 in the form of a separable cylinder gas-tightly coupled with the packing engagement part 8c, and a separable packing presser 26 coupled with the packing chamber frame 22 to axially press the gland packing 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
