<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with a cartridge structure attachable/detachable to/from a device main body in which positioning of the device main body and the cartridge structure is rationalized to not only prevent the occurrence of defective images but also improve maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises; the device main body having a plurality image forming parts arranged side by side; a transfer means 13 which can successively transfer a plurality of images to the device main body and is provided with a guide means 13B on a side surface; a cassette 16 which is coupled to the device main body by a hinge and is provided so as to be freely turned to a first position for setting the transfer means 13 to a transfer state and a second position for separating it from a transfer position and has the guide means 13B attached to a side surface thereof to position the transfer means 13; and an engaging means P which is placed above the cassette 16 and maintains the cassette 16 in the first position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
