<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of increasing the recovery rate of a lactic acid component which has a lower energy consumption than the conventional method and higher purity of the recovered monomer and the optical isomer by using an enzyme in recycling polylactic acid products. <P>SOLUTION: The method of recovering lactic acid comprises bringing a molded product composed of a polylactic acid into contact with an enzyme having a polylactic acid degradation activity, degrading the polylactic acid to form lactic acid, and preferably the molded articles composed of the polylactic acid is previously heated and hydrolyzed, and then brought into contact with the enzyme having a polylactic acid degradation activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
