PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate transfer device which shows successful operability when a printing plate is replaced; requires only a small occupancy space; and is applicable to a satellite printing machine. SOLUTION: This printing plate transfer device comprises a conveying means (9) having a function to discharge a used printing plate (22) to the outside and a function to supply a new printing plate (21) to a plate cylinder (4), which are available in two directions, i.e. forward rotation and reverse rotation; and a retainer plate (11) which is a flat member installed in parallel on the top of the conveying means (9) and receives the new printing plate (21) disposed thereon with one end of the means (9) pivotally supported and the other end branching out. In addition, an actuating means (14) is provided which merges the branched part into the conveying path of the conveying means (9) by pivotally moving the retainer plate (11).
