PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which a user can understand easily about which branching point announcement is performed at a branching point. SOLUTION: The device comprises a voice and speech storage means for storing specified plural voices and speeches previously; a detection means for detecting an existing position, an input means which inputs the voice and speech; a route searching means for searching the route from the existing position to the destination based on map information; a storage means which the voice and speech input through the above input means is stored by matching with the position of the specified branching point; an announcement means for composing and announcing the voice and speech memorized by matching with the position of the above specified branching point and the specified voice and speech memorized on the above voice and speech storage means, when the existing position becomes in proximity to, within a specified distance, the above specified branching point memorized on the above storage means.
