PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost blanket cylinder for a cylindrical blanket which has no fear about a deviation of the relative phase of the cylindrical blanket in the process of printing and no defects about the cracking of a metal sleeve; improves print quality; and is easily removable with high operating efficiency. SOLUTION: In the blanket cylinder for a cylindrical blanket of the type that it is attached to/detached from the outer peripheral surface of the former, a scraping/removing means for scraping/removing grease or other foreign substances which stick to the inner surface of the cylindrical blanket and fall off when the blanket is fitted to the blanket cylinder, is provided on one side end of its shaft part.
