PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of minimizing the occurrence of a collision. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with a normal input port 13 for monitoring the signal state of a UART transmitting port 12, an input monitoring means for monitoring the input of reception data to a UART receiving port 14 from a transmission processing point of time inside a microcomputer 1 until detecting that transmission data are actually outputted to the UART transmitting port 12 according to the signal state of the normal input port 13, and a transmission stopping means for stopping transmitting the transmission data from the UART transmitting port 12 when the input monitoring means detects the input of the reception data.
