PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor allowing other modules to successively transfer data even if a live line is extracted during data transfer, and not reducing efficiency of the data transfer of the other modules even if the live line is inserted. SOLUTION: A plurality of input/output modules 1-4 each connected to a measurement control object such that the input/output modules 1-4 each transfer the data from/to the measurement control target each have a serial transmission processing part 13 and a transformer 14. A data processing module 5 processing data from the input/output modules 1-4 has a plurality of transformers 54 and serial transmission processing parts 52 corresponding to the input/output modules 1-4. By connecting the transformers 14 and the transformers 54 by a serial bus wired such that the transformers 14 correspond one-to-one with the transformers 54 by a base module 10, the input/output module can be inserted or extracted in a live line state.
