PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal reproducing device which can easily perform an operation when a desired function is to be expressed. SOLUTION: In this signal reproducing device, one specific function button 6 is arranged at a device main body, a plurality of function information indicating function to be expressed when the specific function button 6 is operated are stored in a built-in memory of a microcomputer 3. The microcomputer 3 specifies function information in accordance with function specifying information included in control information recorded in the recording media out of a plurality of function information stored in the built-in memory in a state in which the recording medium is loaded, when the specific function button 6 is operated in this state, operation in accordance with specified function information is performed.
