PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with generality for making a general electronic mail by a personal computer or the like convenient and familiar to the same extent as a general telephone especially in terms of incoming call notification. SOLUTION: An account storage means 11 stores one or more sets of associated accounts and passwords to be used by the other communication equipment of a user capable of receiving an electronic mail from a server 8 connected to a network 7 to log-in the server 8. A server name storing means 12 stores the name of the server 8. An incoming call inquiring means 13 transmits a command to inquire whether or not the incoming call of an electronic mail is present in the accounts stored in the account storing means 11 through the network 7 to the stored server 8. An incoming call judging means 14 receives the result of the inquiry from the server 8, and judges the presence/absence of a new incoming call for each account .
