PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up the execution of a Java program. SOLUTION: This method for executing the Java program comprises a starting step for starting a Java virtual machine, a hot spot detection step for detecting a hot spot from the byte code of the Java program, a determination step for determining whether or not the detected hot spot is identical with a registered hot spot, and an execution step for reading and executing, when the detected hot spot is identical with the registered hot spot, the native code of the registered hot spot instead of converting the byte code of the detected hot spot to a native code.
