PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of arranging microcapsules in a method for manufacturing a microcapsule type electrophoresis display body. SOLUTION: After a full surface of a photosensitive layer 73 with photoconductivity formed on a supporting body 72 with conductivity is electrostatically charged, an electrostatic latent image with a specified pattern is formed by exposing a specified part of the photosensitive layer 73. The microcapsules 5 are disposed on the supporting body 72 with the specified pattern by attaching them in the electrostatically charged state to the electrostatic latent image.
