PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field moisture switch which maintains the contact between soil particles and electrodes on a printed board in tight condition, and outputs results with correcting moisture in soil, while measuring the humidity in soil. SOLUTION: Two or more printed boards, on which the electrodes for detecting moisture are formed, are stereoscopically combined to constitute a probe section. A temperature-measuring element for measuring the temperature in the vicinity of the probe section is provided. An electric circuit is installed on at least one printed board. The electric circuit comprises an AC oscillation section, an amplifying section, and a microcomputer section. The microcomputer section switches a set of electrodes to which AC oscillation is applied, changes the AC oscillation frequency, and performs temperature correction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
