PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work carrying device of a transfer press which can independently operate each cross bar and in which a motor for driving the cross bars and a driving device thereof can be made small-size. SOLUTION: The work carrying device of the transfer press comprises stands facing each other across a press line, an elevating/lowering body provided on each stand and driven thereby in an elevating/lowering manner, a first arm which is supported by the elevating/lowering body in a turnably driving manner in a vertical plane, a second arm supported by the first arm turnably by a second arm turning means in a vertical plane, and a cross bar which is fitted to the second arm and has a work holder added thereto.
