ANTENNA SYSTEM AND RECEIVING SYSTEM EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system for controlling a first stage amplifier to receive an optimum reception level even when a received electric field is excessive. SOLUTION: The antenna system is provided with: a reception means for receiving a radio wave from a geostationary satellite and converting the radio wave into an electric signal; a supervisory means for supervising the received electric field of the radio wave on the basis of the electric signal; and a directivity variable means for varying an antenna directivity characteristic on the basis of an output of the supervisory means.
