PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the following speed the variation in a transmission path, by switching an automatic equalization process of a zero clear method and a tap factor value holding method having superior equalization performance according to the property of the transmission path. SOLUTION: In the digital radio receiving system, a wave equalization reference signal for equalization of transmission path is inserted periodically to transmission data, and the data are received. The digital radio receiving system includes a receive demodulation means for receiving and demodulating the transmission data from a transmitting system, first and second automatic equalizing devices to which each of transmission data received and demodulated is fed, a switching means for switching and taking out an output of the first and second automatic equalization, and a property variation detecting means for switching the switching means under control according to a variation in property of the transmission path.
