PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor of an excellent electric insulating property and mechanical strength, and easy to be assembled. SOLUTION: This temperature sensor is constituted of a base part comprising a pair of slender metal plate parts, a holding body formed integrally to form a connecting terminal part in at least one end of the paired metal plate parts, and a hook part provided in the holding body to hook an insulation sheet, a cushioning member arranged on the holding body, a heat sensitive element mounted on the cushioning member, lead wires for the heat sensitive element connected respectively to the paired metal plate parts, and the insulation sheet for covering the heat sensitive element and the cushioning member. In the temperature sensor, one hole part out of the hole parts provided in both end sides of the insulation sheet is hooked to the hook part, the insulation sheet is wound to wrap the base part so as to cover the heat sensitive element, and the hole part in the other end of the insulation sheet is insertedly fitted into the hook part to fix the insulation sheet.
