PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which rapidly quantifies volatile elements in a sample containing organic materials with high sensitivity, while avoiding losses during decomposition processes. SOLUTION: In the method, the sample which contains the organic materials is weighed on a heat-resistant vessel, and then the heat-resistant vessel is filled up with a heat-resistant filler through its aperture, and a bottom section of the heat-resistant vessel is heated, thereby incinerating the sample, and then concentration values of the volatile elements are measured in solution being obtained by decomposing residues by using acids.
