PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system capable of efficiently operating a cogeneration device in an energy-saving manner with relatively simple control. SOLUTION: The cogeneration system comprises a cogeneration device 2 to generate the electric power and the heat, an inverter 10 to perform the system cooperation of the electric power generated from the cogeneration device 2 with a commercial power supply line 14, a hot water storage device 4 to collect the heat generated from the cogeneration device 2 and store the heat as hot water, and a control means 70 to control the operation of the cogeneration device 2. The control means 70 operates the estimated load data on the operational day based on the past load data, and controls the operation of the cogeneration device 2 by using the estimated load data and the present load data on the operational day.
